Short Breaks Available at Lyons Court
The Castle Unit at Lyons Court care Home provides short term residential breaks to older people who may require a break or temporary support in a secure, caring environment for a period of convalescence.
Reason for the stay may vary: You may need a little pampering, or perhaps those who usually provide care are on holiday or are unwell themselves and would like peace of mind knowing that you will be well cared for in their absence or maybe you are feeling slightly run down and require a preiod of convalescence.
The length of the stay is variable: we offer weekend and mid-week breaks, as well as accepting bookings for a week, fortnight or longer (by prior arrangement). However, we do appreciate that in some instances the stay may be longer due to unforseen circumstances and we will endeavour to acommodate these requests.
Funding: You may qualify for a financial contribution by the local authority towards your stay at Lyons Court. We can offer you guidance and support to apply for any funding that you could be entitled to.
