Careline Lifestyles offer a flexible range of innovative short breaks for individuals requiring time away from their own homes, providing them with temporary respite care while at the same time giving their families and carers the opportunity for a break themselves.
We ensure that all service users admitted for short term care are properly informed about the home’s facilities, that their needs are thoroughly assessed, and that a service user plan of care is drawn up and implemented for each service user.
In order to achieve a smooth transition into the care home, we ensure that our team are fully conversant with each individual’s home situation prior to admission and where possible introduce them to their key support worker in advance.
Another benefit short term service users have of using our services on a regular basis is that if, and when, the time comes that they require long term care, they and their families are familiar with the home and it is less traumatic for all concerned when they make the move.
